The above URL is a layout of how my room is currently. I would love to add a new desk/ entertainment center and a love seat but my bed is so big that it takes up most of the space in my room. My bed has to stay where it is because it has a shelf connected to it and because the air conditioner has to stay where it is to use the window as a vent. The TV has to be at least 4 feet off the ground to be able to see it from the bed. Any suggestions on how I can input a new desk and loveseat?

Simple Answer: You can't.

You have too many "must" requirements to make anything seem well worth the money you're willing to spend.

The best advice I can give is: (1) Go to the library and read up on decorating. (2) Study the concepts, formulas, color schemes and other "basics" before attempting anything where spending money is involved. (3) BE WILLING to compromise and erase any and all "must" requirements. Otherwise, leave the room as is, put the money in a good IRA and when you can get over the "must" requirements, then go back to the start of this advice. Meanwhile, your money is earning interest.

I recommend starting with the 2 links below. Good luck and happy learning. Designing is a "disease". Once it gets in your blood, your hooked for life!

  2. Madalen Said,

If your shelf is big enough, you could put your TV on it.
